    CURRENT OPENINGS

    Sales

    Reservations/Sales Agent: Take incoming reservations calls, as well as help guests interested in purchasing items in Acorns Showroom. Requires prior customer service experience as well as strong computer skills.

    Food and Beverage

    Line Cook: Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

    Server: Hospitably greet, prepare and serve drinks to guests according to company beverage service standards and state laws. Prepare station for readiness prior to opening and closing of each shift. Perform all side work duties according to schedules and follow all cash handling and bank operating procedures.

    Utility: Clean and sanitize all areas of the kitchen and operate the dish washing machine in a safe, accident-free manner. Maintain organization if proper rack stacking and silver presoaking, sweep and mop floors, and other general cleaning duties.

    Host: Hospitably greet, guests and show them to their table. Take future reservations, as well as answer any questions about the restaurant and inn.


    The Spa at Old Edwards Inn

    Spa Manager: The Spa Manager is responsible for acting as Director in the absence of a spa director as well as handling all of the day to day administrative functions for the spa.

    Massage Therapist: Provide consistent treatments based on The Spa at Old Edwards Inn’s specific Treatment Protocol to ensure that guests receive universal treatment throughout the Spa and from service provider to service provider. Check with guest for any contraindications that they may have prior to performing treatments. Attend training session meetings and workshops throughout the year and be accountable for continuous improvement (part-time)

    Hair and Nail Technician: Provide professional hair and nail care to Spa guests at a highly skilled level. This service provider provides the ultimate treatment experience to The Spa at Old Edwards Inn’s guests by creating a nurturing, relaxed, safe environment and by utilizing exemplary knowledge and expertise to provide a professional, purposeful, and skilled treatment every time.  Maintain the work environment through care of equipment and tools, cleanliness and sanitation and by completing administrative assignments and follow up contact with the guest.

    The positions listed above require a current North Carolina license and national certification


    Spa Attendant: Provide friendly, courteous, and reliable service to spa guests by attending to their needs in the spa locker room. Assist Spa management and service providers as needed.

    Spa Café Attendant: Responsible for serving guests in our spa café, while maintaining the cleanliness of the area.

    Laundry

    Laundry Supervisor:  Responsible for supporting management in the smooth operation of the Laundry department.

    Laundry Presser:
    Process soiled linen and distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management.


    Acorns at Old Edwards Inn

    Sales Associate: Assist customers, sell merchandise, arrange displays, handle cash and credit card sales accurately. Keep store clean and attractive and assure safety standards are maintained. Strive to achieve sales figures by effective selling. Basic computer skills required.
